805’s Got Talent Hosts Final Auditions for Third Annual Competition
This past weekend, singers and performers auditioned to compete in 805’s Got Talent Industry Showcase at Oxnard PAL Teen Center, located at 350 South K Street. The event, now in its third year, will take place Sunday, October 13, 2013.
The outstanding contestants who will be competing for the grand prize are: Seneca Hill; Cheryl Kewley and Eva Kewley; Las Reynas De La Rumba; Kaili Higa; Audrey Sariah Diaz; Ashlynn Vaglica; Jedd Lebrilla; Zoe Lebrilla; Jazmine Chai and Dance Crew; Crystal Sloan; Tzurumv Pahua; Zackany Tuazon; Melissa Mocha McKenzie and Dance Crew; Alonie Rossell; Morgan Scott Harvill; Jasmine Monzon, Kim Pernia and Jermarie Dizon; Miriam Larson, Isaiah Roy Venegas; Andre Flores and Julian Martinez; Mikayla, Carly, Maddie, Delaney and Frances; Yvette Taylor; Heaven Campbell; Yamira Jade Martinez; Dance Fusion JR; Jordan Cote; and Lyric James.
“There are a lot of events that come to our community that are food related and not music related. 805’s Got Talent centers around education, fashion, health and entertainment. Those are the criteria. We want to entertain our youth and bring awareness to our county,” said event organizer, Chuck Dennis.
The festivities will kick-off at 2 p.m. with a VIP red carpet event. The talent show begins promptly at 3 p.m. Guests can look forward to a talented mix of performers showing off their singing, dancing, and acting skills. Attendees are encouraged to visit the vendor booths.
