The U.S. Navy Seabee Museum will host a lecture entitled “A Tale of Three Units at Iwo Jima: USS Blessman, UDT 15, and 133rd NCB; Contemporary Look.” The lecture, given by Dr. Kenneth Mara, deputy director of the recruiting directorate for Naval Special Warfare, will run 1 – 2 p.m. and is free to the public. The Seabee Museum is located on Ventura Road in Port Hueneme, near the intersection of Ventura and Sunkist, just outside Naval Base Ventura County.
