She was an active member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Oxnard, co-founder of the Bernard T. Carn Foundation, and a golden member (50 plus years of membership) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., amongst many other noteworthy accomplishments. Deloris is survived by her son, grandchildren and other nieces and nephews. The family of Deloris Carn would like to thank all of people and support groups that helped make her transition comfortable.
