Drake Postpones Tour, Citing ‘Intense Rehearsal Schedule’
As if he didn’t believe us when we said that, yes, we do indeed want a tour, Drake has postponed the start of his fall concert launch.
Thankfully we’re only talking about a three-week delay, and the bulk of the affected stops will be tacked onto the end of Drake’s run.
The “Would You Like a Tour?” excursion, which also features Miguel and Future, was slated to launch Sept. 25 in Portland but will now kick off Oct. 18 in Pittsburgh. In a press release, Drake cites “an intense rehearsal schedule and technical production requirements that will be part of the show” as his reason for the postponement.
Drake is in the thick of promotions for his forthcoming third album, “Nothing Was the Same,” which leaked earlier this week. Part of those promotions include a stop on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where Drake addressed his many romantic entanglements, including having once gone on a date with Tyra Banks.
