Dwight Howard Says He’d Fight UFC Bout For $10 Million

At a chiseled 6-foot-11, 265 pounds, Rockets center Dwight Howard cuts an imposing figure.
So how would he fare in a professional fight?
According to a brief exchange, it would cost a fair sum to find out. Howard declared he would fight a UFC bout for $10 million.
“If I get knocked out, I get knocked out,” he said backstage at an October UFC event in Houston.
The prospect of a highly recognizable NBA star entering the octagon of course excited UFC President Dana White.
“I want to do that pay-per-view when you’re ready, man,” White said.
Howard wouldn’t be the first prominent pro athlete to try his hand at punching people for money. Former NFL running back Herschel Walker won his first two professional mixed martial arts bouts, and former Dallas Cowboy Ed “Too Tall” Jones won all six of his boxing matches after he left football. Former Ravens and Colts defensive back Tom Zbikowski is 4-0 as a pro boxer.
