On Sunday, June 8, members of Ephraim & Manasseh gathered to celebrate the Pentecost — the Hebrew feast of Shavuot — and to announce the launch of their new campus. The new campus is located at 831 W. Seventh Street.

Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to the entire nation of Israel assembled at Mount Sinai. The word Shavuot means weeks, and the festival of Shavuot marks the completion of the seven-week counting period between Passover and Shavuot.

“Because our church embraces Messianic faith, we celebrate the feast and we point Jesus out in the feast,” said Bishop Princeton Allen. “It just so happens to coincide that this day is the day we are launching our campus. As many people know, when we first started our ministry, we went into a warehouse and converted it. Now, the purpose of the warehouse is getting smaller and our hope is to fully convert into this campus. This service is to rekindle the fire and make a presentation.”

Previously at this location, Ephraim & Manasseh held its Fivefold Apostolic Ministry School which meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Bishop Allen had a vision that led to the founding of Ephraim & Manasseh and the ministry education center. In his vision, the Lord showed that no matter where people are in life, the Lord wants us to know He is taking people from the back of the line and moving them to the front.

“We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is crucial for our lives in anything we have going on. It doesn’t matter what our culture or creed is. We are in need of the power of the Holy Spirit,” said Bishop Allen.
