Rosemary Flores-Gordon, Ventura County Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association

On Tuesday, April 29, the Oxnard Public Library will host Rosemary Flores-Gordon, Regional Director of the Ventura County Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, who will talk about the 10 signs of Alzheimer’s Disease.

If you or someone you love is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it may not be simply a side effect of normal aging.  Ms. Flores-Gordon will discuss the difference between typical aging and Alzheimer’s.   Early detection of Alzheimer’s gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies, and plan for the future. This interactive presentation will feature video clips of people with Alzheimer’s Disease.

This presentation is free and will take place on Tuesday, April 29, at 11:00 a.m., at the main branch of the Oxnard Public Library in meeting room B.  For further information, please call 385-7532.
