The White House Photography Office picked out some of the best photos from the past year to give you an inside look at the presidency — and some of the best moments from 2013. In 2013, the President Obama was sworn in for a second term. We commemorated the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. We honored our heroes, and bounced back from national tragedies and natural disasters. We strengthened our relationships with allies around the world, and took action to promote the American dream at home. Each January, Pete Souza, Chief Official White House Photographer and Director of the White House Photography Office, pulls together his favorite images from the past 12 months — exclusive perspectives of everything from Presidential trips and events to private moments between President Obama and his family and staff. Take a look at 2013 through a unique lens — and pass it on.
