Michael Williamson, retired Oxnard Police Officer, was sentenced to 83 years to life.

District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced Tuesday, July 29, that Superior Court Judge Charles Campbell sentenced retired police officer Michael Williamson, of Oxnard, to 83 years to life in prison for molesting two children.

On June 2, 2014, a jury convicted Williamson of six counts of lewd act upon a child under 14, one count of aggravated sexual assault on a child under 14 by means of forcible penetration, and one count of aggravated sexual assault on a child under 14 by means of rape.

Williamson molested one of the children from 1993 through 1997. Williamson molested the other child from 2004 through 2008. Evidence was presented to the jury that Williamson sexually molested two additional children in the early 1990’s and in 1997. Williamson retired from the Oxnard Police Department in 2001.
