OHS Marching Band Provides Community With Good, Clean Fun By Hosting Car Wash
The Oxnard High School Marching Band and Auxiliary sponsored its “Spring Trip” car wash fundraiser last Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oxnard High School, located at 3400 W. Gonzalez Road. All funds raised will go to the students in order to pay for their spring trip to “The Happiest Place on Earth”. The band has traveled extensively in past years to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and beyond.
The fundraiser was successful and the students had a great time. “We had so much fun. We always do and it’s the best car wash in town,” said Victoria Borjesson, Public Relations Coordinator, Oxnard High School Marching Band. “The cars were lined up all day. We never had a break and we raised a lot of money for the kids to go to Disneyland for their spring trip in April! We get so many compliments on our car washes and everyone can’t wait until the band has their next one. We provide good clean fun, a great car wash and great entertainment as the customers drive through.”
The Oxnard High School Marching Band and Auxiliary is under the direction of Fundi Legohn.
