Oxnard Gets New City Manager
Well, it’s official. Oxnard City Council hired Gregory Nyhoff as the new city manager. Prior to the decision, the Oxnard City Council held a meet and greet with more than 150 people in attendance on Wednesday, April 2. The two finalists for Oxnard City Manager, Gregory Nyhoff and Chlandra Wallar, addressed members of the community at the Residence Inn by Marriott at River Ridge. Nyhoff is from Modesto and his current base pay is $265,000. According to the city’s financial officer, his annual salary will be around $362,602. Many residents addressed the council and are opposed to the city’s hiring process.
