Ray Allen Can Still Throw Down
By Chris Greenberg
The San Antonio Spurs know all too well how dangerous Ray Allen can be from three-point range. In the opening game of the 2014 NBA Finals, the Miami Heat sharpshooter showed them that he can still get to the rim.
In the closing minutes of the third quarter, the 38-year-old shooting guard attacked the Spurs’ rim on a fastbreak. After shrugging off Marco Bellini outside the arc, Allen rose up over Danny Green in the paint and threw down a one-handed dunk to prove he’s still got all kinds of game.
