SWV Reveals Why Their Career Hit ‘Rock Bottom’
Last year, TLC’s past financial issues resurfaced as the Grammy Award-winner’s VH1 biopic, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story,” detailed Perri ‘Pebbles’ Reid alleged mismanagement of the group’s earnings. Now another popular 90s R&B girl group is making claims that they also experienced similar management issues to TLC.
In promotion of their new WeTV reality series, “SWV Reunited,” SWV appeared on the February 4 episode of “Bethenny” where the trio dished on how management ultimately led to their career hitting “rock bottom.”
“We were just at a point in our career where I guess everything that had happened all the people who had planted their seeds, their seeds began to grow to the point that it was pushing us out, pushing us away from each other,” Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George admitted.
“We had horrible management; our management was not there to keep us as a cohesive group. She literally planted seeds to tear us apart.”
