What Are You Doing With Your Time? – Inez Knows

Are you so busy that you miss out on what’s really important?  Do you work so much that you don’t even get to enjoy the money that you make and the things that you purchase?  Do you have time for the people that you love and the things that you enjoy doing?  The real question is:  What are you doing with your time?  Are you making the most of what you have been given?  The skills, talents and abilities that you possess are gifts.  Not everyone can do what you are able to do!

The people that are in your life are also gifts.  Treat them that way.  You are also a precious valuable asset to your family, your friends, your workplace, and your community.  If your parents are alive, that is a blessing.  Communicate with them.  If your grandparents are alive, try to spend some time with them.  If you have children, encourage a relationship with their great-grandparents.  As parents, we should do our best to raise our children right.  It is an honor to be entrusted with a life to lead, care for, train and love.   Just today I was watching the trailer for the upcoming movie, Irreplaceable, and the little boy said, “We all need love to live.”  According to The Secret, love is the highest frequency.  Give love and receive love from those who have been placed into your life.

You may or may not be exactly where you want to be in life at this very moment but are you doing something to get to where you would like to be?  Or are you letting time slip away from you by being engaged in “business?”   You live where you live and are doing what you are do with your life for a reason.  The question to answer is “Why am I positioned in the place that I am, and am I doing something positive with it?”

The little things make a big difference.  Exercise – 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week can change your life, not just your blood pressure reading,  but also teach you to slow down and take care of your health.  Eating foods that are healthy and staying away from substances that shorten your life (like cigarettes).  Try getting plenty of rest.  Small things like this can help add time to your life.  Then remember to embace those moments with loved ones, family, frriends and co-workkers. Take the time to get organized and make a schedule; believe it or not, taking the time out to plan saves you time in the long run.

Life in our society is very busy.  The key is balance.  Each one of us is allotted a certain amount of time alive here on earth.  Value your time.  Once you use it, once it passes, you cannot get it back.   Be a good steward of the time that you have been given.  Be a good steward of your life, and your time will be freed up to build those relatiionships with people around you.   As you determine to LIVE your life, give some of that time to uplift the lives of others.  Remember don’t miss out on living this one life you’ve been given.
