I’m all about a quick and easy meal. Well, sometimes I’m also about a super long a slow dinner. But when the kids are going crazy, and I know that means they are hungry, a quick meal is essential. Plus, who doesn’t love a delicious meal that comes together quickly.
SALMON is always a great choice for a quick meal.
But of course, it’s not that quick if you have to go out and buy the ingredients. But I digress. I keep both miso paste stocked in the fridge and furikake (Japanese rice seasoning) in the cabinet. You can find both of these ingredients at a supermarket but if you are having trouble locating either item, find an Asian grocery store and they will certainly stock both. The umami richness you get from the combination of the miso, furikake, and salmon really is something splendid indeed. Let’s make some salmon!
INGREDIENTS
• 1 pound salmon
• 1 heaping tablespoon miso
paste
• ½ tablespoon water
• 3 tablespoon furikake
