Oxnard-- Sometimes, I need to take a step back, look at what I am covering and take advantage of what’s being offered.
FOR example, I covered a great event, the Bulky Item Drop Off at the PAL on K Street, and then I got all involved in getting caught up with deliveries and billing.
At the end of the day, when I got home, there were some things in the house that I decided to take out to the storage shed. I grabbed all the stuff and went out to the shed, opened the door, and then it smacked me right in the face. I have a boatload of crap that I’m dragging around the country that could be dropped off for free and removed from my life.
Keep in mind that I would need to do this privately, as the J-Train would vehemently defend keeping this stuff. Of course, I am not a packrat. I have some things that I won’t part with, like a wallet that has been long since retired.
