Meanwhile, navigating doctors who don’t seem to understand that I really don’t have the time to stop the bus and dedicate my day to making co-pays think I have nothing else going on. I’m not on disability like many others and don’t want to be. It was offered, and I said no.
With that said, when I show up at the doctor’s office, the last thing I need, especially on a Friday, is to sit and wait an extra hour.
When the doctor asked if I had questions, I had plenty, like why should I trust you if you can’t even manage your patient list, but I didn’t. The bigger goal is beating Kidney failure. I’m going to beat this. This is just another step on this journey.
