Frosted Thoughts

Oxnard—Usually, I start most Frosted Thoughts on a rant, but not this week! One of the many good things this week is that I get to see Travis, my beloved Paramedic Son, next month!!!!

THE details are not yet worked out; there’s a lot to do, and he suggested coming to his house. I asked for pictures, which he didn’t send, but we found pictures online, and we won’t be staying there.

Regardless, it’s not his fault, and the J-Train and I are both sloppy.

Typically, Travis and I getting together is enough, but my latest labs came back this week, and, for once, they were great; not perfect, but great.

Then my Doctor visited me today, and told me to move forward with a Kidney Transplant. My first response was to scream and shout, but I ended up sitting there crying and thanking God.

I told people via social media and text messages, and the response almost drained my battery.

My whole family got in touch with me, Travis called and asked what he should do since he’s saving my life. Colin texted me from wherever he is and sent me best wishes.
