Oxnard—After a rather grueling weekend delivering the paper and going to community events in Oxnard and Ventura, more about that later, I went home, had dinner, watched a little TV on my computer, and went to sleep.
THOSE who read Frosted Thoughts know I’m a bad sleeper, but on this night, I fell asleep quickly and slept for six hours. That’s unheard of in my world.
I woke up feeling great and refreshed, but when I started to get out of bed, my leg began to shake, followed by my arms and my whole body.
Unfortunately, since my kidneys don’t process toxins in my body well, they build up in my bloodstream, causing my body to shake, while my heart rate increases rapidly.
Interesting things to note: it mostly happens at night, and when I lie on my stomach and exercise with my little Kettle Bell, which is a good thing; I’m in horrible shape, and it helps to stem the tide of all my shakes.
When this happens, I can’t write, sleep, or eat. I’ll get sick even watching a show on my computer. I watch video church nightly and pray a lot for a quick end to…
