Oxnard – Today turned out really well. My blood sugar was really good. I got a lot of rest, and my little girl Daisy hung out with me for quite a while.
I spent most of the night writing, had a little bit of lows with them, my blood sugar, but I dealt with it. It was OK, but I was determined and still am determined that I don’t have to write throughout the night up to the deadline.
I have a new system to prepare myself for dialysis. Usually, I leave with my bag in my arms, dropping things on my way to the car. I solved that problem, and I took it out early.
The drive went well today; there was very little traffic, and I arrived early.
I sat in the car for a few minutes, listening to music and managing my blood sugar. It was a little low.
When I got inside, I hit that wall I was telling you about, which started when I rang the doorbell. I proceeded to spend about 20 minutes waiting at the door for one nurse after another, who wandered by and ignored me.
