Oxnard--Happy 2023!! I hope everyone had a great and safe celebration and is ready to meet the new year with a lot of vigor and vitality.
I’M off to a typical start in 2023, as I went out on New Year’s Eve with a story or two to cover that turned into a big goose egg.
I had more papers to deliver, so I did that without incident.
The challenges didn’t start until I started making stops on the way home. First, the superstore store was a mess, as I ran into a bunch of people that had the same idea I had about buying things for the J-train and my New Year’s Celebration.
Anyway, the J-Train and I stopped at a local grocery store to get celebratory treats, and I used the men’s room since I had to pee. As I walked into the men’s room, there was someone yelling at me because I had the gall to use the restroom while he was washing his clothes. Perhaps the government can do something to expedite the process and clean this up, which would be an excellent New Year’s Resolution.
I didn’t feel the need to engage the person…
