Frosted Thoughts

Oxnard-- I was working the other day when one of the employees at my current location started complaining that he was using his personal computer to produce the paper and was wearing the machine out.

OKAY, it seems like a point, so the management brought us new computers and said to use this computer instead.

The problem, which is partly due to me being spoiled a little bit by my computer, is that the new machine is older and operates on a totally different operating system. It is frustrating to get used to.

It ended up with me taking online tutorials about topics I left behind long ago and getting back to speed.

Meanwhile, I’m still trying to manage a group of rookie writers who somehow have in their heads to send whatever about anything. Needless to say, I won’t win any popularity contests at the next meeting.

It shows why strong management with respect is so important. If employees don’t respect you, your goose is cooked.
