Oxnard--Do you ever have a day when things are going well, and it feels like smooth sailing no matter what?
THAT perfectly describes my Sunday; I woke up, ate breakfast, started writing, watched a little TV, did some more writing, and then decided to do the invoices to get them out of the way.
That was going well; then, I got a message that my printer was out of ink. No problem! I bought backup cartridges the last time I was at the store. The associate picked them out for me.
PROBLEM!!!!!!
The store associate sold me the wrong size cartridge and told me they’d work perfectly. He left out the part where the cartridge works fine if I have a different-sized printer.
I have a hard time dealing with people who don’t know something, pretend to be an expert, and sell you the wrong thing. If you don’t know, the simple solution is to be honest, get someone who does know, and let me make my purchase confidently. It’s no great sin not to know the answer to a question. I respect honesty, and now I have to make a trip to the store, and hopefully, they’ll have…
