Oxnard-- So, we’re heading into the election season, and it’s disappointing to see news outlets continuing the pathetic tradition of having an agenda and giving coverage to people they agree with and telling all the other candidates, sorry, we don’t agree with you, so you’ll get no coverage.
I’VE interviewed two candidates with wildly different points of view so far, and I gave them plenty of ink. It’s been a while since I’ve had to write this, but the plain truth is that we live in the United States, a Constitutional Republic, and every candidate has the right to bring their ideas to the table. Everybody has the right to be heard. The people, not the media, pick the winners.
Both candidates told me that it’s not easy to get coverage. I didn’t get that memo, so I asked questions, challenged them with some tough questions, and let them answer so people know where they stand.
So, let me say to everyone; if you are a candidate and your message is shut down by media that base coverage on an agenda, contact me, and I will give you coverage. I have no agenda. Well, that’s not true; my job…
