“I’ve been involved with PAL (Police Athletic League) since I was really young,” she said. “I’ve been involved with sports since I was young and called Mighty Mites since I was about five years old. I’ve always been raised into sports, and I always have been naturally athletic.”
She also participates in the Youth Directors Council (YDC), which helps young members be more involved with the community.
“Young members get more involved with the community and help with volunteering,” she said. “It’s fun for me to do because it gives me a lot of experiences, lets me speak in front of a lot of people, and gives me more chances to put myself out there.”
She has also been chosen as a Wellness Advocate for her school and a Superintendent Fellow.
