THE ACCOUNTANT RETURNS

Oxnard-- It’s that time of the year again, and it’s time to do the books. As everyone already knows, accounting is not my favorite, or best, thing, so naturally, the J-Train helped out, which means it’s not her favorite either.

THE strategy is simple, divide and conquer. She went through the checks while I dealt with the invoices.

When it was over, we came to one obvious conclusion; we have overdue invoices that need to be dealt with and paid. It starts with email reminders this week, followed by phone calls if the reminders aren’t paid. The J-Train will probably make the calls because it’s widely considered that she is nicer. Oh, the joys of managing a business.

We managed the day by taking turns using our exercise equipment until something went wrong with the machine. We went out to buy a replacement piece to no avail, so we ordered it online. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to go to the store and make the purchase in person.
