Oxnard—The Bumble Bee Preschool Planning Commission discussion continues, with key conditions of approval starting with a new trash enclosure for the proposed preschool and other uses on the property, which must be built before the city issues a certificate of occupancy or a zone clearance.
“THE construction of the trash enclosure must be in accordance with City Council Ordinance 3007 and City Code Section 19-180,” Planner Rogelio Solis said. “Condition 41 is the proposed preschool and childcare. Bumble Bee’s preschool and childcare shall be limited to a total of 50 children and 10 Staff Members unless the permittee can demonstrate that they have sufficient parking to allow for more individuals during the hours of operation.”
He said Condition 42 means approval of Special Use Permit PZ 25-520-01, which will be valid only if reciprocal access and parking are provided between property owners for lots 17-27 of tract 1283 and are listed in the shopping centers’ (Declaration of Establishment of Conditions, Restrictions, and Reservations is maintained.)
