Oxnard-- In his November 15 report to the City Council, City Manager Alex Nguyen said the City reconsidered its consideration due to the local drought conditions.
Public Works Director Michael Wolfe said the City reconsiders its emergency every 60 days because of the drought.
In his report to the City Council, Gabe Teran said he attended the Fremont North Neighborhood Council meeting, and they elected a new executive board.
“Congratulations to the executive board and their Chair, Mr. Dave Ebbet,” Teran said. “I am pleased to see people step up and lead the Neighborhood Council.”
Teran said the Carriage Square Neighborhood was able to meet with the Curren School administrator and the administrative staff from the school district.
The Neighborhood Council brought up concerns from around the District about the school,” he said. “It was a very productive meeting. We’ll be seeing some changes happening with the traffic control that happens near the school. The school has committed to working on some of the issues that have been going on there. A lot of different strategies were discussed, but the initial ones that are the least intrusive, they are going to try first.”
