Ventura—The Vintage Winter Wonderland, a curated vintage shopping experience alongside Just Our Junk and Santa Barbara Apothecary Company, was a day of winter magic and vintage treasures.
SHOPPERS loaded up on ornate winter treasures and went home with full bags, big smiles, and no regrets.
Burnie Gilmore said she brings home treasures that speak to her.
“It has to scream at me, and I have to be able to find a place for it in my home, and it can’t be too expensive,” she said.
She thinks that Christmas is magical.
“These pieces have history, and when you hold them, they speak to you,” she said. “When you think about all the things they’ve seen and done, this kettle, all the pots of tea prepared in this kettle.”
Her Son Jason was shopping for decorations for his house with Burni.
“I’m looking around, seeing what there is,” he said. “I love looking at the displays. Certain things call to me, too.”
