Channel Islands— Cars were all over on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, as the Annual Channel Islands Harbor Car Show had cars on display from Harbor View Park to the Channel Islands Maritime Museum.
DADS, kids, other family members, and more marveled at the classic rides while food trucks ensured no one went hungry.
Dad Jared Smith, along with his sons Parker and Asher, loved checking out all the cars.
“I like GTOs,” Jared said about the classic ride he was admiring. “I saw this one and walked over.”
He loves being a Dad and all the love he gets from his kids.
“My Dad means everything to me,” Parker said. “If I didn’t have him in my life, I don’t know what I would be.”
He likes cars and discussing them with his Dad, but he’s on the fence about his future car.
After fighting with Asher, Parker tries to lead the way towards a resolution.

“Usually, when my Dad goes on a run (Dad owns Parker Towing), I take some time and think about it,” he said. “Then he makes me do push-ups.”
He wants to be a pro golfer someday but admitted he might take over…
