Oxnard—At about 1:50 a.m., November 10, Oxnard police officers were dispatched to a brandishing a Firearm call in the 600 block of W. Gonzales Road.
UPON arrival, Officers learned the suspects challenged the victims to fight and possibly brandished a firearm and fled the area before Officers arrived.
Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 400 Block of Ivywood Drive. Jose Herrera and four juvenile passengers occupied the vehicle.
The OPD removed Herrera and four juveniles from the vehicle, and the Officers located a loaded firearm and 75 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle.
Herrera was identified as the person in possession of the firearm and was arrested for several firearms violations and Child Endangerment.
