Oxnard—The Cultural and Community Services story continues with its Grad Bash, which is a supervised special excursion for Oxnard Students.
OXNARD’S Junior High School students celebrate their promotion at the end of the school year. The District sends 1,600 students to Grad Night at Universal Studios with 100 chaperones and staff.
“It includes exclusive park activities for students, transportation, and supervised activities, providing students with a fun and safe graduation,” Cultural and Community Arts Manager Julie Estrada said. “This past summer, the Sterling Arts Summer Concerts and Arts Mart were introduced, a summer concert and arts mart series in partnership with the Oxnard Police Activities League, and Sterling Venue Ventures.”
The free event was held at Plaza Park, and it brought together live outdoor concerts, artisan vendors, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a lively summer atmosphere.

“Cultural and Community Services remains committed to high-quality quality inclusive programs that enhance Oxnard’s quality of life,” Estrada said. “The Staff looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the City Council, as we address challenges, invest in our community, and plan for the future.”
