Ventura—The Cassie’s Cats and Kittens August featured Cats are Jake & Finn, brothers born August 6, 2023.
THE brothers are full of Kittenish, youthful energy with fully grown bodies.
“We don’t think they’re done growing yet, and we think they are going to be pretty decently-sized Cats,” Cassie’s Cats and Kittens Founder Jennifer Thompson said.
The Cats are similar and playful, she said, as well as loving and affectionate with humans.
“They love to play together, wrestle, and do all the things that Kittens do,” she said. “They also really like people and practically try to hug you and ask for your attention.”
She said the duo are bonded.
“When we got them from the rescue in Simi Valley, Shannon’s Fosters, we partner with, we took them on the agreement that we’d keep them together unless they showed signs they weren’t actually bonded,” she said. “Everything we see here tells us they really want to stay together.”
Thompson said they’ve worked with Shannon’s for about three years.
