July 4th events highlight Ayub’s report

Ventura—During his Tuesday, June 2, report to the City Council, City Manager Bill Ayub said Ventura’s 49th Annual Street Fair and Pushem-Pullem Parade on July 4, plus a weeklong series of events celebrate the Nation’s 250th Birthday.

"THE parade is from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Downtown Ventura,” he said. “This year, the celebration expands beyond a single day, with a weeklong series of community events commemorating the Nation’s 250th Anniversary. It includes a beach cleanup, a car show, a pool party, 5K, and more. The Festivities will also include a Fireworks Show, this year, in the downtown area, on Friday July 3.
