Ventura-- The featured Cat at Cassie’s Cats & Kittens for June is Link, who is almost five and arrived at the Cat Lounge on January 24, which makes him Cassie’s Cats and Kittens senior resident.
LINK shared the Lounge with Lucky, another big male Cat who did not interact well with Link. Lucky found his furrever home last week, which helped Link feel more relaxed in the space.
“We’re watching him strut around the Lounge a little bit, play with toys, and generally act like a happy Cat,” Cassie’s Cats & Kittens Founder Jennifer Thompson said.
Jennifer thinks Link will be an excellent companion to adoptive parents looking for a Cat who is not a crazy little Kitten.
“He has his playful moments, and he also enjoys sleeping in a sunny spot,” she said. “I have a feeling that once he’s home, he’ll be the type of Cat who will climb up on the sofa with you and jump on your bed with you.”
Jennifer thinks Link will be a social Kitty but didn’t demonstrate that attribute at the Cat Lounge while Lucky resided in the same space.
“He felt threatened and couldn’t let his guard down,” she said.
