Channel Islands—The Concerts by the Sea Series took on a Latin flavor Saturday, August 3, as Los Amigos mixed Latin music with a little bit of rock n’ roll, R&B, and country music, which delighted concertgoers.
THE band delivered a standout show, and attendees danced, sang, and pointed at the band, bobbing their heads and reveling in the music.
Jeanette Williams was ready for a great show. She loves Los Amigos, and her favorite song is Suavacito by Malo.
“I pick and choose from the Concerts,” she said. “I was born and raised in Oxnard, and we have everything here. How can you go wrong? We’re at the Beach in the sun. It’s beautiful.”
Rick Williams likes Los Amigos and all its members.
“I know a lot of the people in that band,” he said. “Dancing is not my bag.”
“He’s Hillbilly,” Jeanette interjected.
The duo planned to relax and enjoy the show.

“I don’t have a favorite song; I just enjoy the music,” he said.
Abel Garcia attends the concerts weekly and said it’s a good getaway.
