Oxnard--On April 8, 2026, Officers from the Oxnard Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit (Gang Unit) investigated Oxnard resident Mario Garcia for unlawful possession of a firearm. Officers served a search warrant at Garcia’s residence and located an unregistered firearm and several loaded magazines. Garcia was arrested and charged with multiple firearm charges.
