OPD arrest duo

Oxnard-- On Thurs­day, October 26, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Oxnard Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sunkist Circle and Statham Boulevard.

During the contact, two occupants inside the vehicle admitted they had firearms in their possession.

The occupants were re­mo­ved from the vehicle, and Nelson Morales had a loa­ded, stolen, 9-millimeter handgun in his waistband. Rolando Morales also had a loaded, unserialized, 9-milli­meter handgun in his waistband, and they were arrested for several firearms violations.
