Oxnard-- On Thursday, October 26, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Oxnard Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sunkist Circle and Statham Boulevard.
During the contact, two occupants inside the vehicle admitted they had firearms in their possession.
The occupants were removed from the vehicle, and Nelson Morales had a loaded, stolen, 9-millimeter handgun in his waistband. Rolando Morales also had a loaded, unserialized, 9-millimeter handgun in his waistband, and they were arrested for several firearms violations.
