Oxnard—On February 7, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Special Enforcement Unit (Gang Unit) conducted a traffic stop on a wanted gang member in the 600 block of Hueneme Road. The vehicle’s driver was identified as Miguel Vasquez, 43 years old.
VASQUEZ has an active felony warrant, and during the contact, he had a firearm. Officers located a loaded Colt revolver during a search of Vasquez’s vehicle. Vasquez is a documented gang member and is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. Vasquez was arrested for numerous firearms-related charges.
