OPD arrests convicted felon

Oxnard-- At 9:05 p.m., Saturday, December 2, Oxnard Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Oxnard Boulevard about a person possibly possessing a rifle.

OFFICERS contac­ted 28-year-old Ox­nard resident Edi Donaldo Martinez, who possessed a loaded rifle with a high-capacity magazine.

Martinez is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms, and was arrested for numerous firearms violations, including being under the influence of drugs while in possession of a firearm.
