OPD arrests Gomez

Oxnard—At 8:35 p.m., Thursday, August 22, Oxnard Police Officers contacted 20-year-old Oxnard resident Hector Alanzo Gomez about a call for service over persons disturbing at the apartment complex.

Gomez fled from the Officers but was quickly apprehended. He was found to possess a firearm with a high-capacity magazine. Gomez also possessed a backpack; in the backpack, Officers located narcotics and marijuana, as well as items indicating the sale of these drugs.

He was arrested for firearm violations and the sale of marijuana and a controlled substance.
