Oxnard resident arrested

Oxnard-- At 10:30 p.m., Sunday, January 7, Oxnard Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on 31-year-old Oxnard resident Rudy Torres for vehicle code violations in the 300 block of Halcon Street.

OFFICERS learned that there was a firearm in the vehicle and, during a search, located a loaded, un-serialized 9mm P80 handgun. Officers arrested Torres for multiple firearms violations.
