Ponies by the Sea benefits Guide Dogs of America

Channel Islands—An amazing array of Mustangs and Fords roared into the Harbor during the Annual Ponies by the Sea Car Show on Sunday, September 13, as cars were displayed with their owners, who shared amazing, passionate stories about their four-wheeled Ponies.

PONIES by the Sea included food trucks, and attendees picked up lunch and enjoyed the day.

Tri-County Mustang President and organizer Spencer Siebold said the event has 62 cars plus plenty of food vendors.

“Everyone is excited, and everything is for the Guide Dogs of North America,” he said. “Last year, and the year before that, we donated $10,000, and we hope to donate another $10,000 this year.”

He said planning for the Channel Islands Harbor Show starts six months before the event, and 2024 marks his fourth year doing the show.

“You have a lot of help, and it comes together pretty well,” he said.

 

Siebold used to drive a 1984 80-horsepower Mazda Pickup Truck, but when he got behind the wheel of his friend’s 1970 Mustang Coupe, he fell in love with the V8 engine.
