Ponies by the Sea returns to Harbor

Channel Islands--The Covid lockdowns are over, and the Ponies by the Sea car show returned to the Harbor Sunday, October 9, with lots of Mustangs and people enjoying the day.

THE event, sponsored by the Tri-County Mustang Club, featured a dessert truck, plenty of vendors, and a huge raffle, with show t-shirts on sale as well.

Proceeds from the event benefitted the Guide Dogs of Ventura County and Tender Loving Canines (TLC) as they work to make life easier for people with challenges across the community.

Tri-County Mustang Club President and Ponies by the Sea car show Chairman Spencer Siebold said they missed a couple of years due to Covid, but it is great to be back.

“I think this is one of our biggest shows yet,” he said. “We had 138 cars registered yesterday (October 8), and we had a bunch of day of show cars show up. I’m not even sure, but we’re getting someone counting cars.”

 

Spencer owns a 1970 Mustang Coupe, and he admitted to the 1968-1970 models being his favorite cars.
