The City of Port Hueneme Public Works Department will perform road work to resurface the eastbound direction of Channel Islands Boulevard between Victoria Avenue and N. Ventura Road on August 18, 19, and 22.
BETWEEN 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., road resurfacing work, including lane and intersection closures, will take place.
Channel Islands Boulevard in the westbound direction will be open for all vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian travel on these dates and times:
On Thursday, August 18, three Channel Islands Blvd intersections to the shopping center and businesses between Victoria Avenue and Patterson Road will be closed for most of the day, including two unnamed and the Wheelhouse Avenue intersections. The Victoria Avenue and Patterson Road intersections on Channel Islands Blvd will remain open.
On Friday, August 19, four Channel Islands Blvd intersections, including Bolker Drive, Lido Blvd, and two unnamed intersections to the shopping centers and businesses along Channel Islands between Patterson Road and N. Ventura Road, will be closed for most of the day. The Victoria Avenue, Patterson Road, and N. Ventura Road intersections will remain open for travel.
