Ventura—If you’re looking for a new, furry best friend, Spencer is May’s featured Cat at Cassie’s Cats and Kittens.
SPENCER is about two years old, and Cassie’s Cats Founder and President Jennifer Thompson said he arrived at the Lounge through a trapper they work with in Los Angeles.
“He joined us with a female Cat named Sophie, and they’ve been here for a couple of months,” she said. “Spencer is a really nice, friendly Cat that gets along with just about everybody.”
Jennifer said he could probably be in a home with children and share a house with a Cat-friendly Dog.
“He’s a playful, all-around good Cat,” she said.
Spencer has no serious medical issues, but Thompson noted one eye that is “an eye that occasionally gets a little runny.”
“A little stress at the lounge probably brings it on,” she said.
She said Spencer is not a finicky eater and enjoys everything at mealtime.
“Wet food, dry food, chicken or fish is fine,” Thompson said.
Sometimes, new arrivals at Cassie’s Cats and Kittens are a little shy, but Spencer is a nice, easygoing Cat.
