Oxnard—On February 22, 2025, at approximately 11:19 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Oxnard Blvd and Orchard Pl. Officers contacted the driver identified as 24-year-old Jose Vega.
Officers learned Vega was on probation and a documented gang member. During a probation search of Vega’s vehicle, Officers located a loaded semi-automatic handgun. Vega is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. Vega was arrested for numerous firearms-related charges.
