Ventura—The Board of Supervisors, on Tuesday, June 9, marked and celebrated its 151st Ventura County Fair for everyone to enjoy.
CHAIR Jeff Gorell invited Gloria Martinez to the podium, and she is also a member of the County’s Economic Vitality Team, to speak, as well as other members of the Fair team.
“The Ventura County Fair showcases the very best of our community, with the agriculture, art, culture, education, entertainment, and achievement,” Gorell said. “I’d like to congratulate Annelliese Chang of Camarillo, whose artwork was selected as the official 2026 Ventura County Fair Poster. This is so exciting.”
Gorell thanked the Fair Board, and he also thanked Martinez for everything she does.
Martinez said it’s an honor to address the Supervisors, and as Vice President of the Ventura County Fairgrounds, along with her fellow Board Member, Betsy Chess, acknowledged the team that works year-round to hold the Fair.
Junior Fair Board President Mia unveiled the winning poster to the Board of Supervisors to see and enjoy.
