Channel Islands Harbor—The Channel Islands Maritime Museum caught the Holiday spirit on Sunday, Dec. 1, as Fireball’s Wheels & Waves Car Show meant cool cars, plenty of coffee and donuts, music, and lots of joy.
THE event featured over 40 classic rides after weather slowed the Nov. show, as Fireball looked forward to a great Christmas.
“We’re going to celebrate New Year’s at the Jan. show,” Fireball said. “I’m not traveling this year, so anybody who wants to come by will enjoy a great show.”
He said enthusiasm and feedback generate Wheels & Waves.
“It’s not a huge turnout this year; our battle is with time,” he said. With my show in Malibu for 10 years, it wasn’t until my second or third year that things took off.”
He said 2024 started rough, but his Mother taught him to pivot.
“Focus on what you can be grateful for instead of the problem,” he said. “I’m grateful for this community; my world is expanding.”

Fireball is vegan and said tofurkey is possible.
“My sister makes an incredible cherry salsa,” he said.
