Channel Islands-- The local art community came to life, Saturday, November 15, as the Remember November Art Show & Sale on the patio behind Miscellaneous Treasures at 2301 Roosevelt Boulevard featured fine art and photography, paintings, resin art, and lots of unique jewelry.
ORGANIZER DottiePringle was thrilled to be out in the warm weather and hosting the art show and said there is a little bit of something for everybody.
“How wonderful is this to have this cooperating weather,” she said. “We’ve had a really good turnout this morning. We have eight artists here, the Channel Islands Gulls are here, and some world-renowned photographers are here.”
She said despite the challenges they are keeping their names out in the community.
“People are slowly coming out and about to do a little bit of shopping since we’ve got the port issue going on, and the stores and things aren’t quite open yet,” Pringle said. “We’re hoping that people Remember November. We have to remember our veterans and celebrate them.”
Dottie’s art is on Instagram at Dottie Pringle Art.
Miscellaneous Treasures Owner Johnny Everett hosted the event and gladly welcomed Pringle and the artists.
“That’s what the community is all about,”…
